Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often.
Do I need a plot before contacting you?
No. Our diaspora support service covers land acquisition. If you already have a plot, so much the better: we start straight on the project. If you do not, we can point you towards areas that suit your budget and your objectives.
What does the initial consultation cost?
The initial consultation is entirely free and carries no commitment. It usually lasts 30 minutes, by video call or telephone. We use it to understand your project and to give you a first read on feasibility and budget.
I live in Europe. Can I handle everything remotely?
Yes. That is exactly what we are set up for: we carry out the technical survey, prepare the estimate and the drawings, handle the formalities and run the site ourselves. You receive dated photographs of the site every week and a monthly report on how the works and the costs are moving. The decisions that matter are signed off remotely, by email or WhatsApp.
How long does a project usually take?
It depends on the brief, on the plot, and on administrative timescales that rest with the relevant departments rather than with us. A provisional calendar is drawn up during design, and the works schedule is written into the contract before anything starts.
How does payment work from abroad?
Payment terms are set out in the contract. Instalments are structured around milestones tied to progress on site: you only pay for what has been completed and signed off.
